Cadence Patrick is a 10th-grade Digital Media student from Oakland who is passionate about exploring the intersection of technology and the arts, and about utilizing technology to improve lives. Cadence has been active with Black Girls Code since 2015, when her team won first place in the summer Hackathon. She credits Black Girls Code with expanding her interest in computer science and technology and broadening the way she looks at her future.”
